I’m Matt Wolfe, a North Carolina real estate advisor with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate® Paracle, serving Waxhaw and the surrounding southern Charlotte area. I’ve lived in the Waxhaw area for more than 35 years, giving me a firsthand perspective on the community, its growth, its neighborhoods, and the homes that make this area such a great place to live.
Waxhaw isn’t simply an area I work in — it’s home. I’ve watched the community grow and change over the years while still maintaining the character that makes it special. That long-term local knowledge helps me give buyers and sellers practical perspective on neighborhoods, homes, locations, and the differences that aren’t always obvious from a listing or an online search.
My goal is never to tell a client what decision to make. It’s to give them the information, context, and guidance they need to make the right decision for themselves.
In addition to being a licensed real estate professional, I’m an actively licensed North Carolina home inspector. That background gives me a different perspective when I’m helping clients evaluate a home.
When touring a property, I naturally look beyond paint colors, countertops, and cosmetic finishes. I’m also thinking about the home’s construction, systems, maintenance, and overall condition. A showing with me is never a substitute for an independent professional home inspection, but my experience can help clients ask better questions and look at a home with a more informed perspective.
For sellers, that same experience can be helpful when preparing a home for the market and identifying items that may deserve attention before buyers begin walking through the door.
I believe real estate representation should be personal, straightforward, and centered on the client’s best interests. Buying or selling a home can involve a lot of moving parts, and my job is to help make the process easier to understand.
Whether I’m helping a first-time buyer, someone relocating to the Waxhaw area, a family making their next move, or a homeowner preparing to sell, I focus on clear communication, thoughtful advice, and making sure my clients understand their options.
I’d rather educate than pressure. My goal is for clients to feel confident about their decisions because they understand the process and have the information they need.
I work alongside my wife, Marina Wolfe, as a husband-and-wife real estate team. We bring different but complementary strengths to our clients.
My background is especially strong in local knowledge, residential construction, and property condition. Marina excels in contracts, negotiation, transaction details, and the technical side of the real estate process. She is also fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
Together, we’re able to look at a transaction from different perspectives while working toward the same goal: helping our clients make smart, well-informed real estate decisions.
If you’re considering buying or selling a home in Waxhaw or the surrounding area, Marina and I would be happy to talk with you about your goals, answer your questions, and help you understand your options.
There’s no pressure and no obligation — just a conversation about how we can help.
